    Product Details

    Gas Description

Helium, also known as high-purity helium or ultra-high purity helium. It is a rare gas with inactive chemical properties, and it is generally difficult to react with other compounds or substances. The content of ultra-high purity helium in the air is 5.2 parts per million. It is theoretically possible to separate and extract ultra-high purity helium from the air, but due to its low content, high extraction difficulty, and high separation cost, ultra-high purity helium resources are quite scarce.

Store ultra-high purity helium in a cool and ventilated place, away from sparks and heat sources.

    Product Usage

Ultra high purity helium is widely used in military, scientific research, chemical, refrigeration, medical, semiconductor, pipeline leak detection, superconducting experiments, metal manufacturing, deep-sea diving, high-precision welding, and optoelectronic product production.

Due to its lightweight and non flammable nature, ultra-high purity helium can be used to fill gas boats, balloons, thermometers, electronic tubes, diving suits, and more.

Ultra high purity helium has a low solubility in the blood and can be added to oxygen to prevent decompression sickness. It can be used as a breathing gas for divers or to treat asthma and asphyxia.

The temperature of liquid helium (-268.93 ℃) is close to absolute zero (-273 ℃) and is commonly used as a superfluid in superconducting research to manufacture superconducting materials.

Liquid helium is also commonly used as a coolant and refrigerant, and in medicine, it is used for argon helium knives to treat cancer.

Ultra high purity helium (6N) is favored by university laboratories, medical and research institutions, and is often used in medical and scientific research.
